About Commando Kennels
Commando Kennels (P) Ltd., established in 1986 is widely considered THE LEADER in dog training in India. Our dogs have been winning in obedience & agility trials all over the country.
We are the canine industry’s pioneers in a wide range of services that include advanced dog training in Hyderabad to narcotic detection dogs to puppy training- all solely using Positive Behaviour Modification System (TM). The entire team is trained in low-stress handling, which means we always engage with dogs in a relaxed mental state.
With Epitails, Commando Kennels is now redefining pet care services in India by offering services focused on positive behaviour modification, pet wellness and pet grooming services.

M. Prakash Butt
Managing Director
Mr. M. P. Butt, a leading obedience judge for the Kennel Club of India and managing director of Commando Kennels, pioneered professional dog training in India since founding the institute in 1986. His significant contributions include introducing dog training courses, winning India’s first agility trial in 1995, scoring a perfect 300 in a 2007 obedience competition, and developing numerous obedience champions.
Philip A. Butt
CEO
Philip Butt, a seasoned canine expert with 23 years in dog training, serves as a Dog Trainer, Writer, CEO, and Hon. Secretary of The Hyderabad Canine Club, and a K9 consultant for the Telangana government. Having trained over 1,000 dog trainers and handlers nationwide, he stands out as the Chief Trainer and is the leading Indian faculty in operant conditioning, positive reinforcement, and advanced techniques.

Neetu Butt combines over twenty years of hospitality expertise and academic leadership with entrepreneurial vigor at Commando Kennels. Her career, highlighted by significant roles in the Taj Hotel group, equipped her with exceptional skills in operations, customer service, and management. At Commando Kennels, she applies her rich hospitality background to enhance customer satisfaction.
